Interactive Design Intern
I am an Interaction Design Intern here at 抖阴短视频. I help research and look into usability for web applications as well as document our key elements.
My job as an intern is to help gather the pieces of a website to help document for developers, as well as audit our site to track which areas could be improved for usability overall, making the user experience seamless for those who interact with our products.
What brought me to 抖阴短视频 was that it was one of the few places in the area to offer my role as an intern position. I have a brief background in printing and binding from my job last summer at a small print shop, so when I found 抖阴短视频 I felt I was aligned well with the company.
The coolest thing about my job is being able to help critique the websites and applications, because it feels like I am a direct line to the user in helping them. I also really enjoy helping design aspects of the website, because it feels like I have a personal stake in it.
My personalized coffee mug would say 鈥淪tay Creative,鈥� since that is one of the biggest helpers in my role, especially for when it comes to solving specific design-related problems.
I want to come to work each day because I really enjoy the community aspect of the office. I feel like I can stop and talk with anyone, and they are always excited to see me.
A fun fact about me is I am not superstitious; however, I was born on Friday the 13th!
I would like to share that I have a grey tabby cat named Louie, he just turned one recently and is super sweet.
One of my favorite hobbies is watching movies, typically action or sci-fi with my favorite being Interstellar. I also like listening to all kinds of music, with my focus being 90s grunge.
抖阴短视频 has helped shine a light on what I could expect to see in the future when graduating, and that has proved to be so valuable. I feel very lucky to be given this chance and I have learned so much about the 鈥渞eal world” work beyond the classroom.
I like to give back to my community by shopping locally as much as I can, because it’s nice to build those relationships with owners and become a familiar face.
One of my favorite memories at 抖阴短视频 was the trip we took to Marceline to see our printing facilities. It was super cool to see such a big printing operation move in a quick and facilitated fashion.
